FAO-Report of the 169th Session of the Council for Adoption
1. The 169th Session of the Council was held on 8 April 2022, under the Chairpersonship of Mr Hans Hoogeveen, Independent Chairperson of the Council.
2. The one-day, unplanned Session of the Council was convened in line with Rule XXV, paragraph 1, of the General Rules of the Organization, and Rule II, paragraph 4, of the Rules of Procedure of the Council, on request received in writing from 43 Member Nations, and subsequent consultation between the Director-General and the Independent Chairperson of the Council (ICC).
